Shipping costs are calculated based on the subtotal, discounts, and non-refundable.
We offer free returns for 30 days for all customers from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Luxembourg. Please note that Express shipping costs are not refunded. If you return an item from the EU, a return shipping fee of €20 will be charged and €30 for all other countries. These costs will be deducted from the refundable amount. The return period starts on the day the shipment is delivered or picked up.
Return policy for Made-to-Order Items
Made-to-order items from our webshop can be returned unless prior discussed, personal customizations have been made. Custom changes are always made in consultation with the customer and are not covered by the return policy.
To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be in their original condition without signs of wear or damage
- Items returned by mail must be in their original packaging, (including labels, boxes, and bags)
The following items cannot be returned:
- Engraved products
- Gift vouchers
We want you to enjoy your new jewelry worry-free. We stand behind the quality of our jewels and offer a warranty on all items.
- Conscious collection
On our Conscious Collection, we offer a two-year warranty from the date of purchase. This includes a certificate of authenticity. We will take care of your jewelry if there is damage to the material or craftsmanship of the jewelry. We collaborate with top manufacturers to create semi-handmade, responsibly produced pieces that last long. We have confidence in the quality of our product and therefore offer a 2-year warranty.
This also means that the warranty does not cover lost items, scratches caused by normal use (such as a bent ring or broken chain), misuse or storage of your product, and any alterations to your product made by a third party outside AVJ.
- Vintage collection
On our Vintage collection, we offer a three-month warranty from the date of purchase, which exceeds the standard offered by other vintage stores. This is because we thoroughly inspect each item before offering it. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a longer warranty because we are not the maker of the jewelry.
Ethics / Sustainability
Our carefully curated quality jewelry is made from 14K recycled gold and ethically sourced stones. Our suppliers are certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), which emphasizes optimal practices in health and safety, human rights, fair labor, good governance, and environmental protection.

- Choose a ring that fits the respective finger.
- Measure the diameter of the inside of the ring in millimeters.
- Use the table below to determine your ring size.

- Wrap a strip of paper around your finger where you'd like your ring to be.
- Make sure that the paper is pulled snug to your finger, the tighter the better, to find your best fit.
- Mark the spot where the paper meets and measure the distance with a ruler (mm).
- Use the below chart to determine your ring size.

TIPS & TRICKS
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size.
- Measure your ring size at the end of the day, as your fingers are largest then.
- The wider a ring band, the tighter it fits. If you choose a wide ring, go for half a size larger.
- Do not measure your ring size if your hands are very cold. This can cause you to measure a ring size that is too small.
- Alcohol and salt can cause your fingers to swell. Try measuring your ring size at a different time.
