Every order that leaves our premises marks a special moment for someone: a gift, a milestone, something they have been looking forward to for a long time. Behind the scenes, you make sure that moment is right. On time, complete and beautifully presented.

We are looking for someone who does not just carry out tasks, but helps build the business. Someone who keeps an overview, takes responsibility and gets energy from a well-run operation.

YOUR ROLE

You are an important link in our daily operations. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that all orders leave on time and with care.

What you will do:

• Order processing: picking, checking, packing and preparing our orders for dispatch, with an eye for detail, because an AVJ package is part of the experience
• Goods receiving: accepting incoming deliveries, checking quantities and quality, identifying discrepancies and processing them in the system, and putting the goods in the right place
• Stock & systems: ensuring that stock levels are accurate, processing changes correctly and helping with stock counts and checks
• Monitoring order flows: keeping an overview of what is still open, what needs to leave today and where things risk getting stuck
• Identifying and solving issues: is an order delayed or is something missing? You deal with it immediately, find a solution and communicate promptly with customer service and the colleagues involved, so the customer is never faced with surprises
• Organising the operation: you think along about how best to organise our workspace and stock, from layout and locations to packaging materials and workstations, and you implement those improvements yourself
• Thinking about processes and tools: you spot what could be better or more efficient, including in the software we use, and speak up. We are growing quickly and our processes are growing with us.

You do not see the customer, but you work for them every day. You are the person who ensures that an order arrives on time and that we respond quickly when, on occasion, it does not.

If the showroom is short-staffed, you will occasionally lend a hand. It is great if you enjoy that, but it is not a requirement. Your main focus is behind the scenes.

This is a hands-on role with responsibility, perfect for someone who thrives on structure, pace and collaboration in a dynamic environment. We are looking for someone at junior to mid-level who is ready to grow with the company.

WHO YOU ARE

You are someone who:

• Is genuinely comfortable with software and systems. You pick up new tools quickly, think in terms of integrations and settings, and are not intimidated by a technical question. This is a firm requirement for us, not merely an advantage
• Keeps an overview of operational processes, including on busy days
• Enjoys helping to build the structure of our operations, rather than simply joining something that is already in place
• Has experience in an operational, logistics or fulfilment role (an advantage)
• Takes responsibility and feels ownership of the operation
• Works accurately and has an eye for detail
• Communicates proactively: it is better to coordinate once too often than to inform a customer too late
• Is eager to learn and keen to grow with a fast-growing brand
• Speaks Dutch and English
• Has an affinity with jewellery or fashion/luxury (important)
