We offer free returns within 30 days for all customers in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg. Please note that Express shipping costs are non-refundable. If you return an item from within the EU, a return shipping fee of €20 will be charged, and €30 for all other countries. These costs will be deducted from the refund amount. The return period begins on the day the shipment is delivered or collected.
Return Policy for Made-to-Order Items
Made-to-order items from our online shop can be returned unless personal alterations have been made as agreed in advance. Custom changes are always made in consultation with the customer and are not covered by the return policy.
To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be in their original condition, without signs of wear or damage
- Items returned by post must be in their original packaging, (including labels, boxes and pouches)
The following items cannot be returned:
- Engraved products
- Gift cards

- Conscious collection
We offer a two-year guarantee on our Conscious Collection from the date of purchase. This includes a certificate of authenticity. We will take care of your jewellery if damage occurs to the material or craftsmanship. We work with top manufacturers to create semi-handmade, responsibly produced pieces that are made to last. We have confidence in the quality of our products and therefore offer a two-year guarantee.
This also means that the guarantee does not cover lost items, scratches caused by normal use (such as a bent ring or broken chain), improper use or storage of your product, or any alteration to your product carried out by a third party outside AVJ.
- Vintage collection
We offer a three-month guarantee on our Vintage collection from the date of purchase, exceeding the standard offered by other vintage shops. This is because we thoroughly inspect every item before offering it for sale. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a longer guarantee because we are not the maker of the jewellery.

Find the perfect bracelet size
The right bracelet size starts with measuring your wrist. Our bracelets are designed with extra room for a comfortable fit. Therefore, first measure only your exact wrist size.
Option 1 – Measuring tape
Wrap the measuring tape snugly around your wrist, just above the wrist bone. Make sure there is no extra space between them.
See where the measuring tape meets. This is your exact wrist size.
No tape measure? Use a piece of string or a strip of paper.
Option 2 - String or strip of paper
Wrap it snugly around your wrist, just above the wrist bone. Make sure there is no extra space between it and your wrist.
Put a dash where the ends meet.
Lay the string or strip of paper flat and measure its length with a ruler. This is your exact wrist size.
What now?
Now that you know your exact wrist size, use the size chart to find your perfect bracelet size.
For most bracelets, we recommend adding 1.5 cm to your wrist size. This provides a comfortable fit with enough room to move naturally.
Do you prefer to wear your bracelet a little closer to your wrist, for example with a tennis bracelet? Then add 1 cm to your wrist size.
Example
Is your wrist size 15 cm? We recommend a bracelet size of 16.5 cm.
For a slightly tighter fit, choose 16 cm.
